After the successful completion of the inaugural five yearly theoretical campaign Kids’ Action to Restore Environment’ (KARE 2007-11), Green Living Association launched the practical Environmental Campaign ‘Collective Action to Restore Environment’ (CARE) with the inclusion of more educational institutes and by changing its direction from theoretical to practical aspects of Environmental Education. The objective of this campaign is to extend the sphere of the participants to 200,000 Green Angels and their around one million supporters by the end of 2016. This objective is then connected to the GLA’s next goal of extending the basic Environmental Education to each Pakistani by the year 2020.
The Scholars’ Green Quiz 2013
The Scholars Green Quiz (Environmental Quiz for the College & University Students) was arranged during the first quarter of 2013, under the practical Environmental campaign ‘CARE‘. The Scholars’ Quiz had a practical focus and the widest approach for the participation of the students from various institutes. A good number of students from nationwide colleges participated in the first activity of this kind along with their large number of supporters. After evaluation of the Quiz Sheets, all participants of the Quiz were presented recognitions which also included attractive and valued prizes and awards for the top performers of the Quiz.
Below are given the names of the National Winner Students of the Quiz with admiration that such wonderful achievement was not possible without bright vision, firm commitment and wonderful association of the institutes’ administrators in developing our future generations as Responsible, Dynamic and Environment Friendly grown up citizens.
