Green Essay Writing – Participation

Green Essay Writing was the second activity of the GLA’s campaign ‘Green Concepts’ organized in the first quarter of 2008 after the successful completion of the Environment Quiz – 2007 in which around 5,000 Green Angels participate along with their appx 20,000 supporters (parents & family members/ close relatives). For a gradual and persistent increase in participation, according the objectives of Green Concepts Environmental Education Plan (GCEEP 2007-11)around 10,000 Green Angels were planned to join ‘Green Essay Writing’, in association with their about 40,000 supporters, from the nationwide campuses of the quality schools in Pakistan. The target was successfully achieved with the accomplishment of the activity.

Like other activities of the KARE Campaign, each participant of the Green Essay Writing was declared as the winner and was honoured recognition from Green Living Association. According to the educational grades of the Green Angels the Green Essay Writing was organized in three different categories:
